Hi from Barton Pedersen. I hope you enjoy reading my comic strip "Benny and Boone" as much as I enjoy drawing and creating it.

Inspiration and ideas for the comic strip come to me in a variety of ways; some are from my parenting and Cub Scout leader experiences. Raising and teaching kids has given me the opportunity to witness and be amused by their “I can do it” determination, one of the personality traits that I have given to Benny.

I enjoy exploring nature and being outdoors, especially when I’m in the company of family and friends. Hiking, biking, kayaking and canoeing are some of my favorite activities, whether it’s in the forest lands close to my home or in the nearby Canadian Rocky Mountains.
